Behind The Scenes: Fall / Winter 2014 Campaign

For our Fall / Winter 2014 campaign styling inspiration, we were influenced by Karlheinz Weinberger’s portraits of rebel youth in the 1960s. These teens created looks by combining their own individual sense of styles with bouffant hairdos, denim jeans, biker jackets, James Dean insouciance and other iconic American pop culture imagery.

We wanted to portray the EK girl with a rebellious yet refined attitude, as Weinberger had portrayed the working-class teenagers he shot as having a defiant glamour, while still being fiercely individual.

Here, a few behind-the-scenes photos and video from the campaign shoot, which took place on a very, very hot day in June at Fast Ashley’s Studios in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The Fall / Winter 2014 collection is now available on eugeniakim.com.
